Tangled Pickles makes curious veggies for curious people: unexpected pickles inspired by flavors from all over the world, tangled together in one very good jar.
This brand is for the food nerd who brings home condiments as travel souvenirs, gets excited about yuzu radishes, and thinks a jar of something weird makes the perfect gift. The challenge was finding a visual direction that felt small-batch without falling into the usual grandma’s-kitchen nostalgia or minimalist craft-food aesthetic. They are bright, tangy, and a little unexpected.

Instead of old-world or industrial, we went bright & graphic: a briny, joyful palette of unexpected color pairings, chunky stacked typography, & a whole suite of block print-inspired veggie illustrations designed from the start to expand into labels, patterns, merch & all the other goodies a festival booth needs.
The stacked wordmark pairs with a rotating cast of veggies & then transforms into a full repeating pattern used across packaging, merch & print pieces. The aim is curious & playful without tipping into childish.
